Projects can connect with the Primary School Curriculum and school priorities including Visual Arts, SESE, English, Maths, SPHE, local history, sustainability and place.
Projects might culminate in:
A school exhibition
Collaborative mural or installation
Sculpture or outdoor artwork

Community artwork
We can help shape the creative project around your school's existing programme, theme or funding opportunity.

Public Art & Bespoke Projects
Make something that belongs to your school.
Spark can develop larger, site-specific projects for school grounds, buildings and local communities.
Students can work with an artist from idea through to making and installation, creating artwork that becomes part of the school environment.
Projects can respond to local history, place, landscape, environment, identity or community.
Working with Sorsha was a wonderful experience. Her creativity, patience, and ability to engage every participant made the project both enjoyable and meaningful.
How it works
1. Get in touch
Contact Sorsha and introduce your group or organisation. Tell me a little about who you are and what kind of project you would like to develop.
2. Initial meeting
Sorsha will arrange a meeting with your group to discuss ideas, explore creative possibilities, and design a project that suits your needs.
3. Funding and planning
If you already have funding in place, Sorsha will organise the required materials and equipment and schedule dates to begin the project. If you do not currently have funding, Sorsha can help you identify suitable funding opportunities and assist with writing and submitting a funding application. Potential funding sources include:
The Arts Council, Creative Ireland, City Council Arts Office, County Council Arts Office, Education and Training Board,
Local community grants and funding schemes.
4. Begin your project
Once funding is secured, Sorsha will schedule workshops and begin bringing your creative project to life.
